Marcia E. Walton Scholarship
The Marcia E. Walton Scholarship is for a nontraditional, full-time, second-year student planning to transfer on from JCC and pursue a degree and career in teaching. The award will be made during the first term of the second year, after the student has indicated the desire to pursue a teaching degree. The student must have financial need and must carry a minimum 2.8 grade point average. Preference is given to students who have demonstrated leadership ability through coursework, volunteerism and/or contributions to the College and/or the community. (Sponsor: Marcia E. Walton.
