The Thomas Family
The Steven G. Thomas Memorial Scholarship was created in memory of Steven Thomas. Steven was killed in a traffic accident and his family wanted to make something positive out of something negative. He was a JCC Alumni and served in Vietnam. Since he was involved in youth sports and the community his family wanted to provide opportunities for young people.
Impact
The Steven G. Thomas Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a graduate from General Brown who has financial need and shows academic merit. The applicants must provide a short essay explaining how this award will impact his/her academic career.
