McGrann Paper Corporation

McGrann Paper Corporation was founded in 1974 by Donald Francis “DF” McGrann. It began as a one-man operation with DF acting as mill representative for several paper companies including St. Raymond Paper Company, Rising Paper Mill, Reigel Paper Company and the Brownville Paper Company.

In 1978 Karl McGrann joined his father in the business forming McGrann Paper Company. In 1985 Karl succeeded his father as President and CEO of the company. In the late 1980’s Karl acquired the company’s first warehouse and shortly thereafter added several rewinders pointing the organization toward the successful J-I-T stocking merchant they are today. Over the next twenty years Karl led the company to tremendous growth by continued investments in assets and human capital.

In 2015 Karl moved into the role of Chairman of the Board appointing his son Adam McGrann as the company’s President and CEO. Adam has worked in every facet of the company starting in 1994 while still in high school. After obtaining his undergraduate degree in 2002, Adam worked in sales and procurement as well as acting as the company’s COO from 2008 through 2014.
