Dr. W.S. and Mary E. Bull

This scholarship was established n 1999 by Dr. W.S. and Mary E. Bull. Dr. Bull passed away in 2006. Mary passed away in 2010.

Mary and Wilbur met while he was stationed in Manchester, NH during the Second World War. They were married at her parent’s home at 102 Silver St. in Dover, NH on March 3, 1945. They then resided in Philadelphia, PA for four years while he completed his studies at the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School.

In 1950, Dr. Bull started a Veterinarian practice in Chaumont, NY and then moved the practice to Burrville in 1953. In 1972, he established the Watertown Animal Hospital on Washington St. Mrs. Bull worked along side her husband, managing the office during his career as a Veterinarian.

The recipient of this scholarship shall be a nursing student that is recommended by faculty or the Admissions office.
